The planter apparatus and poles?? ...this is interesting.
Those are tomato plants, 3 Amish Paste and 1 Brandywine. The A-frame has field fence as a type of trellis so when the tomato plants get tall enough they can lay on the trellis. DH and I are conjuring up ways to turn this into a type of greenhouse with a drop light for heat when it gets below freezing. So we're hoping to have fresh tomatoes during winter but if it doesn't work no biggie. Only thing it cost was a little time and a few seeds :)

We have been raining something fierce here as well. Last night I woke up and the first though I had was PIRATES!!! The lightning was so fierce. The ground is so saturated that my mastiff with his giantness is just tearing up the lawn with his weight. My lot holds a lot of water. I have puddles here and puddles there. This spring I intend on buying some dirt and filling some it them but I just get freaked out that I could be flooding toward the house. I was also thinking of some kind of drainage system... but not sure how that would work.
