If you read this is per cutting!
They grow pretty fast for me here.
There must be a way to propagate and make a living!
Even if I don't have a big farm, I think I can do something.

Well Ron you will be happy to know I am giving my Epi some care today .
I now have 10 plants. I am making hanging baskets for them also.

But the good part is, I have a mess of cuttings!

I have had some work the last few weeks so I will get a box ready for you and Crystal (AKA BDR).

Oh and Ron I sent out a collection of my Mex. Petunia seeds to you this morning.

Here is a little of what I did today.

I have had these macrame rings for years on end, never had a use for them but could not bring myself to throw them away.

Today they have become very useful. A few rings and some bell wire and wa-la!

This is with out the back drop.

And with the very important black sheet.

That is just too incredible! I am amazed how thick your plants are. When you put up the black background...wow, it really shows how much green you are surrounded by.

Excellent Epi Garden!!! ...LOL $5 a cutting! :weee

Joe,

I finally managed to fix my Epi to a more suitable stance for moving into the house. This cutting is only one season old and was no bigger than one leaf portion to start last winter.

I cut the elongated branch down and stuck them back to the base of this planting. So now there will be three main stems in one pot.

By next year this time, this plant should be in one size bigger pot and put to a hanging basket. I will have to study your hanging a bit closer. What is it you used?

I believe this Epi is a giant version of some of the other ones we have seen (leaf-wise). I think you will agree once your cuttings grow into adulthood. I have actually seen this version put into a whiskey barrel and it grew a trunk and woody bark.

Oh...that's right...my pictures! I think you will like how I fixed it!

I misted it before taking my pictures.

...oh, take a look at this...this I did not know! I have never seen an Epiphyllum make seedpods or fruit!
