Looks great!!

We got our fall garden in REALLY late (read... 2-3 weeks ago... oops!!) and our carrots just started coming up. Our garlic looks GREAT tho! I'm waiting on my broccoli and cauliflower to pop up, but we're doing hoop houses this winter, so hopefully it should be okay! (please please PLEASE be okay!! LOL)

Wonderful, Joan!

That scarecrow looks like it might be attractive to crows ;).

Is that white acorn squash? It has been so long since I've grown acorn that I don't remember what the immature ones look like. I am curious about the flavor of the white ones.

Joan - awesome pictures!! I cant even imagine sitting outside enjoying warm weather and blooming flowers right now, very envious!!

Thistle - i also need to get my garlic in - i was hoping to do it tomorrow but they're calling for cold rain and maybe some snow tonight, an inch possible!?!? and for the next couple days, bitter cold, wind, and possible snow. Blah.

Southern Gardener. LOVE the garden - especially the garden gate and the fabulous scarecrow and mumms.
Our garden is done for the year, too early, as we lost so much during the drought. :( And now nights are dipping into the lower thirties. Brrrr. As much as I LOVE fall, I miss my garden.
Digits, I believe the squash will get darker green as it ripens. We have grown Table Queen before. Yummy.
