3 sundials guess your mother was always on time. If you have bottom to bird bath (tops always get broken) lay one on base, really get into it ,set so dial is telling right time

Remember how far you are from the center of Pacific Time when setting up those sundials, Thistle'. Now, I can't imagine why I thought it important to write that ...

Anyway, each year i have my paternal grandmother's tomatoes. Does that count?

Funny thing about that is that after being given the seed about 25 years ago, I did some research to see if I might figure out what "the peddler's tomato" is. A Porter tomato from the Porter Seed Company in east Texas seemed like a real possibility. I grew some. The first year, I determined that there was absolutely no difference in the fruit. There might be a difference in the plants. The second season, I decided that there was no difference ...

I asked my dad's youngest brother if he wanted to know what I believed I'd figured out. He had given me those seeds about 10 years earlier. He most clearly let me know that he did NOT want to know.

When I asked his granddaughter about that tomato a few years ago, I was careful not to say anything about the Porter . Her grandfather is gone now but her mother still grows that tomato.

i have plants that have traveled up from Lynn/Saugus, MA area to my parents' home then over to my home. those are the only 'ornaments' that have been kept in the family.

Nope! Wish I could say otherwise, but my parents didn't do much with their yards other than mow.

@dickiebird it took me years to learn to post photos here, bet it takes years to learn to turn photos LOL. The chip on arm was from fall after storm, the bowl is also replacement. I couldn't believe my luck when I found the extract same bowl at Lowes.

The photo editor wants you to have your picture the way you want to look at it. But, you have to make some change and save.
