What are your favorite pots? Did you buy them, get them as gifts, search them out?
I will start with the small plastic pot I just used to pot up an Amaryllis pup, one of three pups attached to the Apple Blossom Amaryllis bulb that I gave to my youngest DD, but I kept the other 3 for some winter growing interest. Dunno Why I like this pot. I bought it for a succullant as an office plant, had to up pot it and gave the new pot and plant to a friend. Job didn't work out, so I took it out on the plant!! :rant
Anyway, although I Don't like pink, I Do like this pot. It has an attached drainage saucer, although I have heard of people picking up cheap glass candy or cigarette trays to use for indoor draining saucers.
I also like terra cotta pots. Even though I Wouldn't have picked grey terra cotta, DD's gifted me 3 of them and I will put them to good use.
I LOVE, LOVE, glazed pots. I gave DD's my favorite glazed pot, blue and cream, about 15 gallons volume. Last time they planted in it was 2023 and I helped them to move it back into their garage and it is stored upside down on an old wooden door that a previous owner left, along with a few other glazed pots, also stored upside down so they won't get wet and freeze and crack.

This is my favorite pot! This pic doesn't do it justice as it is a really pretty dark green with a ceramic glaze. My mom gave me this pot almost 30 years ago and it has provided a home for many types of flowers! It has a lot of sentimental value to me.
I love all kinds of ceramic pots, both plain and fancifully painted. If I had to pick a type of pot that I wouldn't use even if it was gifted to me, I would say it would have a picture of a really awful musician on it or something goofy like that! 🤣

As you can see, I have a thing for whimsical pots. Especially for houseplants and succulents. A drainage hole is a must. I pick up mug, bowls etc. to use and will have DH drill holes if necessary. Secondly, beautifully glazed clay pots.
