I'm ready for that overgrown rodent!

We shot a huge opossum in the chicken coop earlier this week, btw.

Well, regardless of what the groundhog says, we're already getting some pretty consistent spring-like temps. Hit 68* yesterday. It was glorious!

That's funny Journey! But I think you need to sight in your weapon, it looks like your missing him...

You can all hate me, but I'm up for more snow and cold. Not wishing it on anybody else of course, but I'm not ready for my winter break to end.

That is sad he died. Really, I wouldn't shoot P. Phil unless he trespassed in my garden. ;)

You know, I'm kinda worried that we didn't get enough chill days for the apple trees to bear this year. And it's time to prune already. I can't believe it.

I did see a real (unhappy looking) groundhog being held out to check for a shadow.

I had read that some place was going to stuffed animals. PITA getting involved? Or were the sponsors worried about more bitting?

P. Phil is almost never right, not sure what he's drinking over there on Gobblers Knob lol. I hope he is right this year though, itching to get going this spring. May 7th is the day before my birthday that must be what you are talking about.
