Too late for honest if deal struck. Great truck for hauling mulch, etc... Then donate so it comes off of taxes. Great plan.

Good news, $700 won't hurt you and HS kids have a project.

couple things to look at.
start the truck does it start right away?....does it smoke?<the engine>
does the engine have a tick?.....valves might need adjustment.
you should take it for a drive see how it handles?....... vibrations, get up and go, transmission shafts easily.
let go of the steering wheel does pull to one side? ....alignment
hows the body?....excessive rust
does it have a hitch?... need one for hauling trailer

so you get for 700.00 +tax, license, insurance. and since your nephew is mechanically inclined it just might a good truck for him....

As long as mechanically sound-great buy. What scare me is $900!is cheap for a running truck. For him to let u get him down $200, what's wrong with this picture? Any liens against it?

That's more like it...don't know much about a 4.6 Ford so can't advise there.
If it runs and drives out good and I wanted a 1/2 ton truck that may be on to buy, hard to tell much from where I sit!!!
