Fencing In Orchard

How large is your fenced in area ? What type of trees are you fencing in ? I see that you will be installing hardware cloth on the top of the fenced in area to keep squirrels out. However squirrels regularly go right through the cyclone fences at least around here.

• Trees are dwarf, was going to use bird netting to wrap fence hard ware cloth on top.

A squirrel will make short work of bird netting. Sorry, squirrels are such a pain.

Last year my peach trees where covered in peaches, all it took was 1 day for squirrels to strip trees.

Just switch out the bird netting with 1/2" chicken wire to the top of the cyclone fence with NO gaps. Theat should keep the squirrels out, but mice will just go through that too.
