Fire in my hometown

As I'm sure NinnyMary knows, we are having a terrible fire here in the Sierra Foothills. The other side of my town is mandatory evacuation, along with other towns the last few days. 65K acres. 10% contained. Heading south and east towards Murphys, Arnold and where NM has a cabin. I've been packed since last nite. DH is 8 hours away at a hometown guys weekend. Sigh....

That is just awful. I cannot imagine. Other than my critters, I wouldn't know what to pack up. The weather forecast doesn't look helpful at all. Praying for you!

Important papers, insurance, birth certificate, anything that has to do with your personal business. Valuables, pets, food, water, a few changes of clothing, but most of all, YOU. Stay safe.

We just got a call from my daughter who heard from her friend in Angeles Camp. Worried about our place. Stay safe and hope it get's contained at the least.
