Fireplace That Burn Wood

Thanks @thistlebloom. I will have to take a day time photo. We did not build the masonry part, but DH tiled it. It was a very time-consuming project!

I took some photos today @thistlebloom . The tile is a crazy abstract design. Inspiration came after a visit to Quixote Winery in California. The winery building was designed by Hunderwasser, an architect that didn't use straight lines. DH even put an end-grain floor in that room, which was also in part of the winery.

Wow! I can see there are many hours of craftsmanship in the fireplace and the floor. You have a very one of a kind home Bucka!

I that end-grain floor is a very impressive detail. I love it!
