First growth of the season

I didn't care how weak I feel, I went to my garden and began preparing beds today. Raspberry and Tayberry and Boysenberry are showing new spring growth. Thornless blackberries are more evergreen than deciduous, but node buds are showing some green.

Yeah, me too. I've got the little 6-pack cell things like you get at the garden center. Hope they will be ok for the couple of weeks that things will be living in them.

Marshall, good for you to be getting out there - but get plenty of rest too. Bodies heal when they sleep.

Soon as the mist over the lake basin burns off I'll get out there again, at least for awhile. But yea, I'll probably have a nap after. Each day is a bit better.
