First Strawberries of the Season

I bought 10 June bearers and 10 Everbearers last year from Walmart.Don't know what varieties they were.The ever bearers all died and I didn't let the June bearers fruit.The plants ran and tripled in number. Now I have berries galore,large and sweet.

This is my first attempt at strawberries,but it won't be my last.They were easy to grow.I'm going to try the ever bearers again,if I can find some reasonably priced.They are $4.49 each at the farm supply store in my area.NOT!!!
