Yes, it wouldn't be the greatest, but, at the store they are basically crammed into smaller tanks, and when they finally attain their freedom, they are usually fed to other animals. This would give them 110 gallons to swim around in.

You can use the water at any time. The main purpose of the goldfish is to keep the bugs down, but, any emulsions are also beneficial.

Hmmm. Maybe I could use a large, kind of shallow barrel with plants? THENN THEIR "quality of life" wouldn't be too bad?:/

Mine is basically the same as this, but, with a top on, and without the downspout actually going into the barrel.
