Yes Bay I AM compulsive ... "I have a gathering/meeting ... oh look that rock would be better over there & Hey! I need to move those rocks to the other side of the house ... Oooops! I missed that meeting/get together...!" :idunno I wonder if there is a medication for that? (I hope not;))

Thistle, I SO understand the Zen of Rock Arranging. It is addicting like puzzle solving. I end up re-arranging because I cannibalize one path or border to finish another (subconsciously extending the "projects")

Awww you are SO SWEET:hugs
:) And Jeez two days ago I was a DORK! :hu Looks like we need to make a rock run soon. I need LOTS for the yard to replace those nasty landscape timbers we have rotting around the flower beds.

Still struggling to see the redneck part of the equation. That's gorgeous!!! What did you do to prep the hot tub for a pond?

It's very well thought out and a great use of a hill. I didn't know there were hills in Iowa....I thought it was flat.....

Thanks Jared!
The redneck part was that my son "got it from a guy" then kept it in his front yard 'till I was inspired to bury it in my yard as a fish pondo_O
My hubby ground down the jet holes and epoxy-ed aluminum pieces over them. 5 summers ago and it is holding up well.
No, Iowa is NOT flat :p We are on the eastern most part of Iowa, where the river runs west. It is very hilly to the north of us. All the way up to Minn. Beautiful country!

Beautiful gardens! Looks just like a magazine spread. I sure hate missing even a day or two on TEG because you get behind and I almost missed this thread!

I love the terraced hillside with the foundation stones. We have a lot of those around here too, but unless you buy an old farm up in the hills, you have to pay an arm and a leg for them, usually hauled out of the woods by loggers. I did manage to get a few from my dad's farm when the old barn collapsed. Not enough though, that's for sure...could never have enough. ;) They are so heavy too! I bet you have good muscles after moving them all, Jeni Ann.
