I love jokes. All told, I laugh too much.
Our hare changes color. In winter, the hare turns white. In winter, the hare can damage young fruit trees. So our gardeners women-never throw away old pantyhose. They wrap the trunks of young trees, the old pantyhose. It does not harm the trees, but rabbits and mice can not gnaw it. I'm sorry but it's true.

This hare-child. I guess it is like a rabbit.

I love dogs so much. But my Aina died not long ago. She was 15 years old. It's .:(.. I'm not ready for another dog.
Only cure for a broken heart after losing your old dog......a naughty little puppy.

Herre is what our local rabbits look like-much smaller than your hares. We keep our vegetable garden fenced in to keep rabbits and woodchucks out. My 3 year grandson chases the wild bunnies through the daylily fields. It is quite hilarious as they are not too afraid of him though he would never catch them.

:hugs Understood. Someday you will be ready and your heart will melt into a new dog's eyes. :hugs

You wouldn't be leaving a dog "on the forest edge" to guard your garden anyway. The hares would still be free to do their damage most of the time.

My garden is close to my house so my dog is in and out any time. She also watches for movement and lets me know to let her out when animals move near the yard.

She was a puppy 15 years. Very funny and moving. She has never had puppies. Then she picked up the kittens from the cat and do not let her get close to them. Although it was already old.

And this is not potted- lily. I bought it on the street, out of pity. The season started and onion nobody wanted to buy. She is tall, but well-bloomed. Her I planted in the garden.

Do I see another balcony like yours in the background, Larisa? Your space seems ideal for growing plants.

Those photos are of past lilies? Or are they blooming for you now?

This is a balcony of city flat. It’s rather small but there are a lot of plants. Photo made in the summer 2015. Now most of plants taken to the home, wintering plants are covered with special materia.

Losing a pet is like losing a member of my family here, as I get older it's harder and harder to let them go when the time comes. All of our cats and dogs we've had have lived to ripe old ages. When I lose one of our faithful companions a little piece of my heart goes with them, so sorry for your loss Larisa

It's true, @aftermidnight . She was little and I still look at his feet. Always was afraid to step on her tail when she next jumps.
