flowers to start from seed

Sorry I didn't see this sooner. Maybe next year think of growing a few of these

Coral nymph salvia (or an array of salvia)
marine heliotrope (smells wonderful)
annual rudbeckia like chim chimnee, cherokee sunset, cherry brandy, etc.
pentas
verbena

Go to tsflowers.com and you can buy packs of seeds for $1 each of LOTS of stuff. Teresa is so sweet, she is really helpful if you have questions too. She is in Indiana

Borage might be a good addition - it sort of straddles the line between herb and ornamental and it is all edible. The blue flowers really attract bees and I plant them throughout my veg garden along with marigold, calendula and nasturtium. Borage grows super fast too, so you could start them now and have something sellable quickly.

Bachelor buttons are very easy to grow from seed, and I never see them at garden centers anymore. Nasturtium, cosmos, zinnias, all turn out nice and get snapped up pretty quick around here.

Rob I'd hit flower day in Eastern Market. Super cheap flats there and you can find just about anything your looking for.

Here are some plants that you can try that I haven't seen listed yet-

Four-o'-clocks
Love-in-a-mist
Strawflower
Painted Tongue (Uncommon and pretty easy, stems break easily from strong winds.)
Moss Rose (Uncommon and easy)
