you can thank (or blame) Steve for this thread. Didn't want to hi-Jack his thread.

What thing did your kids complain about when living at home but Now they eat it. For my kids, I grew up having pancakes every Sunday as did my kids. I love pancakes but they complained about it EVERY Sunday. Now that they are on their own, I found pancake mix and syrup in their apartments...... Love it.

If it was you, what are you doing that reminds you of your parents (or G'parents) that you used to complain about?

If I have responsibility, I'll go first.

DD didn't like salmon ... although, she'd pick at it. (Well then, maybe she was picky! ;))

I don't think it rates too high with her, yet. But, she claims she considers it edible. I'd be surprised if she ever orders it at a restaurant.

Imagine! Not liking salmon ...

Steve

I smile every time I use onions...which is all the time, because I used to throw a fit about them when I lived at home. Picked them out of everything!!

I didn't like ANY food! I was a picky eater because I was so ill when I was a wee one. Tonsilitis, ear aches, you name it. Nothing tasted good. Then Grandma got hold of me. Now I eat most everything

It did take me forever to learn to swallow pills though. I had a terrible gag reflex, part of being ill I think. So I had to take stuff like liquid Geritol, chew pills (Grandma read Prevention Mag back then), I had to chew the brewers yeast tablets she gave me...aspirin tabs..zinc tablets.....etc...etc...and :sick
