so lucky, you are getting so close! I don't know anything about that "dragging" part. Lol. I write my post, hit upload a File, and then go and open it and click on it.

Yesterday I managed to drag and drop photos of the work we are doing on my son's house. I'm not sure if the fact I took them from FaceBook means it was easier, but the process worked well and that forum is the same type as this one. @Nifty run!

so lucky, sent your photo to your email address, click on the photo under your address and then click on the one on the bottom left. Then go to TEG and hit post thread and type your text. Then hit upload file go to your pic and click on it, then hit full image, and create thread.

It sounds long and complicated but if I can do it so can you!

trying again...this is a pic of a huge wasp nest that was in
my DH's truck gas tank lid. Newly dead wasps are at the bottom, thanks to Hot Shot Wasp Spray.

Unfortunately, I don't know how I got the pic on here. Please bear with me. The pics that I took with a regular camera and downloaded into a folder last year were fairly easy to put on the forum. The pic that I just took with my phone and e-mailed to myself, I can't seem to get into a folder from which to drag and drop. I think I may have put this on Google Drive, what ever that is. :idunno

@so lucky , I'm not sure how to help ...

You have a smart phone now, right? Do you have folders in it? My tablet has a "camera roll." It's easy to ask TEG to "upload a file" and have TEG find my picture.

Using my (not smart) phone with its camera is a little bothersome. I can send a picture to Photobucket with the phone and then link that here at TEG. Or ... I can download the Photobucket image into the pc or tablet and let TEG find and upload it to a message.

Oh yes, the phone can also be attached be wire to the pc and the picture moved directly into the pc. I've only done that once.

I think I assumed I could easily make an off-line folder or file with pics I send to my PC e-mail. There doesn't seem to be any way to do that directly. For now, I can download it to Google Drive, then eventually get it to transfer to the forum.
I may see if the nice young man at Best Buy can help me choose a wire thingy to move pics from phone to PC. And, as I get more familiar with the smart phone, I may find a much simpler way to do this.
Thanks, my friends, for helping and tolerating me!
