Could have been someone tossed out some potatoes because they had started to sprout and they survived. Hard to say though. Now I'm curious. Between you and Hoodat's mystery mater we're fixing to have a mystery meal!

I've put them in some soil and watered the other day. Things like to take at least a week before sprouting, my black elephant ears have still not sprouted, hope they do so after moving outside in spring!
