Can anyone help identify this plant? I don't want to think it's edible, but with the bulb at the end, I'm not sure. Possibly a radish of some sort?

Looks very much like daikon radish to me. You can steam those and eat 'em with butter.

agreed! never cooked them, but hot radish if you like radish.
