This is Fred (the fiance named him). I was just calling him Roo but Fred has now stuck. I got him from a swap that I didn't even go to. This is the roo that canesister's picked up for me from the Gilmanor swap. He has been kept inside, away from my other chickens. He's gone out a couple of times into the rabbit hutch for some fresh air and sunlight (there hasn't been much of that lately).

He's an australorp. He's incredibly friendly. He will perch on my arm and allow me to pet him. I have had no aggression issues at all. I am very pleased with him.

Yep, that's what mine looked like when I gave them away. Except mine didn't have the white under the chin. Looks like he'll be ready to start crowing soon.

Fred's a nice looking roo. I have mostly all Austrolorps. Love the breed! I bet Fred will be a good addition to your flock.
