freezing tomatoes?

I agree with farmerlor make a tomato powder or even a tomato leather ..both very good!

I do not freeze tomatoes unless it is in a bag of odds and ends for soup stock ..when you cut up tomatoes for a salad and you have all those odds and ends you have potential flavor just waiting to happen

Well dang! I've been blanching, skinning, coring then freezing my tomatoes... not any more after reading this thread
