Well I think the pretty green shiney leaves I pulled were Poison Ivy! I have it all over me and I found some in the ditch where I though my weeds! definitely FoE!!!

I thought both of the poisons sisters (oak and ivey) had groups of 3 pointy leaves?

I am highly allergic to poison ivy and poison oak too! I wash in a Clorox and water solution and it dries up the blisters and if I get to it soon enough, I won't even break out! You can also put apple cider vinegar on the rash, that will help, but if you have blistered, it will sting.

I do you apple cider vinegar, and 90% rubbing alcohol. the stink is temporary and anything to knock out the itch is wonderful

found some poison ivy yesterday looks like a good weekend to walk the property with some brush killer, and do my annual ivy hunt.

My hubby hunts poison ivy all summer long and dispatches it by digging or spraying long before it gets a start. He's allergic so it is self defense for him. It really makes a huge difference, especially with a dog that can bring it right to you on hercoat. Neither of us have gotten the rash a many years (knock wood) and we've both gotten dreadful cases in the past.

That is one plant I really despise though I guess the birds like the berries, so it serves some purpose.
