Garden Master
We like to hard boil a bunch and keep them on hand for quick protein for breakfast (just eat them plain). My kids will eat 3 or 4 each this way.
I put mine carton and all into the freezer for about 15 minutes while I get the pot of water boiling, then lower them into the water carefully with a slotted spoon. Simmer with the lid on 15-20 minutes, then remove with the slotted spoon into cold tap water. The cold-hot-cold transition works great to detach the inner membrane. I'm always cooking fresh eggs this way. Don't need to add anything else to the water.
Eggs in a basket is our favorite way to have them! I use a heart-shaped cookie cutter for the kids.
