I like that image @MontyJ ! A man poised to go into a building frenzy and just waiting for permission......gazing out the window at all the buildable spaces...
Around here it takes wheedling, whining and bribery. :D

Haha, I was thinking that too. I wish my DH was hopping to build me another coop! :D I've asked for just a small one for Ava's banties, that's all...

No, @Carol Dee, I am not enabling. Dew will really appreciate having a new coop for her girls. She NEEDS a new coop since the CXs will be over running the old one. She is a lucky woman to have someone so good at carpentry willing and able to build to her needs.

Isn't that exactly how chicken math is supposed to run?

Y'all stop that. I'm gettin' all red in the cheeks!

The weather is looking good for Saturday! Hoping to get the entire coop done over the weekend. I'm picturing a sort of cross between a tack-room and a lean-too.

Waiting for DH's to build new coop? Ladies! Just pile in there and do it yourself! Your DH will either help, push you out of the way and take over while telling you everything you did wrong, or do absolutely nothing like he is doing now. Either way, you get a new coop. Do I hear a stampede of tennis shoes going out the door with hammer in hand?

 I was wrong to come across like I was complaining. My husband builds beautiful outbuildings for me. It's true that I do a lot of wheedling and resort to bribery, but he is great at being more realistic than I am. He keeps me under control :D.
This summer he will be building me a hay barnette to keep a couple tons of hay out of the weather. And he will also be expanding the back steps into a small deck with a roof to keep the water from running down my neck when I come in the back door. :love
