Mary you need to take some humor supplements! Or maybe it just appeals to those of us who are slightly warped....
I looked at it again....*snork*..yep, still funny! :D
I've never really had a sense of humor! Don't care for comedy movies. I've seen some where the entire room is laughing falling off their chairs and you can barely get a smile out of me! I do like to laugh and do quite often. I guess I just like to laugh at real stuff.

I don't care for what passes as comedy movies either. Never watch them.
But I do like Far Side humor, and Calvin and Hobbes...oh, and real stuff too.:)

Ok, I had to see this several times before I could get it. The "sky" is falling. I'm kind of slow when it comes to jokes. But I didn't think it was that funny. haha

I thought it was funny as DH and I tend to not hear each other right. We hear some pretty funny statements/declarations around here. Sis does also. One day here hubby came and declared it was *Going to rain soon* She thought he said * I am Daniel Boone* .

You should write those down. It would be fun to read on a dreary day!

And that is funny why? It sounds like a perfectly reasonable fantasy to me.

Perfectly reasonable means it is real stuff, however. (Or should be.) To that I will agree.

I can only hope. Alas, they would probably end up being nurses to this senile old lady.

I think I saw a different version of this one by Leigh Rubin

As for humor you don't need supplements, just a diet change. Just eat a lot of wry bread. ;)

I consider myself extremely warped (their are rain soaked decks less warped than me) I think it all goes back to a cousin of mine who worked in publishing, and though THIS was a good idea of a pop up book to give a baby (sorry it's such a crappy pic)

For those of you who have never bumped into this book (which is probably nearly all of you) it is indeed a pop up book.....by Edward Gorey (i.e. it is definitely NOT kid friendly in content). And I LOVED the thing. From there I progressed to the other masters of the dark and sick, Charles Addams, Tom Leherer, the HPLHS, and so on, until I became the twisted psycho I am proud to be today
