{Sugar in the Morning}I sometimes get so desperate that I sing to my grains. You know the classics like "Do not Forsake me, Oh my Barley", "High on a Hill was a Load of Oats" (aka "The Lonely Oat Horde"), "How Rye You Are", "Wouldn't You be Rice?" and so on. (Hmm, maybe that's why my corn does so bad, I haven't found a song for it.)
Corn in the morning.
Corn in the evening.
Corn at supper time.
Grow my little cornstalks, I love you all the time.
I plant you in the warm soil.
And water you just fine.
So you will grow forever
In this garden of mine.
Corn in the morning.
Corn in the evening.
Corn at supper time.
Grow my little cornstalks, I love you all the time.
