Wife - You mean ate.

Husband - Maybe it was eight I et!

Husband - Are there any chores i should be doing?

Wife - Well, the fence needs painting and the doorknob on the front door is loose.

Husband - Very good, that's all I needed to know.

Husband (as he lays on the sofa) - I can't really enjoy a nap unless I know there is something else I should be doing.
