Some people call those shirts "wife beaters!" Really loose tank tops also carry that nickname!

it sure is an example of an old-school name that is probably no longer really used in common conversations. i never knew that name until i was older.

Another funny bit I came up with last night.

Person 1 "Seriously, you still don't trust me?"
Person 2 "Why on earth would you think I don't trust you"
Person 1 "Well, you wouldn't tell me what kind of snake that was we saw on the beach yesterday."
Person 2 "What are you talking about, I told you immediately."
Person 1 "No you didn't! I asked you what it was and you said it was a secret."
Person 2 "Yeah, just like I said; it was a sea krait."

as an undershirt the tank top makes absolutely no sense at all to me...

my garden shirts are all $1-2 each at the budget store. long sleeved button downs to keep the sun off me and must have at least one pocket. with our last run we picked up enough that i should be good for years. when it is hot enough out they are unbuttoned to let air cooling help out. today i will need that...
