You all missed a great comedy skit Sunday afternoon. I went out to feed the chickens. I started with Nesco who currently has his own home in the garden shed. The shed door often won't latch properly and I don't want the snow -- or predators -- getting in at night.
As I stood in the doorway, I pulled the door shut with a slam. Swoosh! I was covered in a blank of snow -- head and shoulders. I brushed myself off and checked the door. It didn't latch and the door slowly creaked open, so -- being a slow learner -- I slammed the door again. Another avalanche of snow weighed heavily on my head, and shoulders while balls of snow stuck to my jacket back.
I left the door unlatched for time being and hurried inside to dry off before tending the chickens in the coop. I do have to get DH to align the latch with the catch.
