Very cool what do you look for more age or design ?

To be technical, it's not usually my choice. The pottery collection is mostly my parents so they have chosen most of the pieces.

However I tend to go by design. The really old stuff tends to be too expensive to be in my price range.

There is also the fact that, with all Native American products, the older you get, the trickier owning the stuff legally gets. Most really old stuff is cultural property and not legal to buy or sell. This can even apply to old things that were originally MADE to be sold; after a time, even those become cultural property.
