I need to telly you a funny story Beavis. I made my own tomato cages last year. I wanted them to be durable and last like yours. Except I bought the wrong size wire. So once the tomatoes grew I could not get my hand in to pick them. :barnie So I had to get my wire cutters out and make little windows. Oppps!!!!!

Oh, you used welded wire didn't you!

That is like 2" x 4" instead of 6" by 6"

I use about 1 or two foot of welded wire around the base of my 6" x 6" concrete reinforcement cages. That works to keep out hungry ducks!
