I just picked up a weeping pussywillow that came with a booklet. The booklet said they are know as the tree of enchantment and can grant wishes. legend has it that willow is bestowed with magical power capable of fulfling wishes. For a wish to be granted ask permission of the willow explaning your desire. Select a pliable shoot and tie a loose knot in it expressing your wish. When your wish is fulfiled, return and untie the knot. Remember to thank the willow for your wish. Do you know any myths or legends?

I read on a Pinterest pin that you can tell the difference in male and female bell peppers because male peppers have 3 lobes, and female have 4 lobes. Huh? Might be a new wives' tale.

Male bell peppers? I think that would be males with ovaries . . !

NyBoy, seeing only the "myths" - my 1st thought was that online horticulture myth-buster. Do a search for Linda Chalker-Scott and you will be forearmed against some of the craziness out there.

Potato planting by the dark of the moon? With your eyes closed?

Narcissus falling in love with his own reflection?

What about the Christmas spirit coming in the house with the mistletoe and holly. Or, was that the pixies. Could have been with Buddy Holly. Or, was that the crickets? I don't remember!

Haha, i saw that too, so lucky! Now when i go to the store and look at the bottom of the peppers i laugh to myself a bit! I like to buy the ones with 4 lobes because we make stuffed peppers often and they stand up nicely in the baking dish.

I think I'm a bunch of MYTHS!

Now, ya take MYTHS, and then ya take the S off the end of the word MYTHS, and ya put it at the begining of the word.

WHADDAYAGIT?

=====

Hint: Yagit my last name!!!

Another thing about my last name...
It has no proper vowel in it! Old original Irish Gaelic.

Happy Saint Patty's Day to ya and yer Blarney! :)

May yer pockets be heavy and may yer hearts be light, and may the luck-o-the Blarney Stone follow ya each day and every night!

My daddy always told us to remember we are Orange with the humor and all love to the Green!

Marshall, will the Blarney stone still follow me even though I'm not Irish?

Happy St. Patty's to you my friend!
