Either that, erelse ya got to shake yer Guiness o'er a napkin ta open it all agush, in order to be Irish feraday, so may ye partake in said blessings! Not sure, but something akin to that!

Ah yes, Mica Peak, but which one? More in a second.

Marshall I have wondered about the spelling of your name. I wrote it yesterday.

Neither Lemon Boy nor Safeway Cluster are acceptable tomato variety names after you de-hybridized those lines. (Not in my garden!) So, I wrote Smyth on a plant marker, became confused and put seeds for both in the same container. HA! I will get them sorted out!

Mica Peak in Idaho or Mica Peak in Washington? The 2 mountains stand side by side with only a canyon and boundary line between! A close up look on Google's terrain map will show you, Kathie :).

Singing to plants will make them grow better.

The narcissist flower came from a Greek mortal named narcissus who saw his reflection in a stream and fell in love with his image, he stared at it till he wasted away and in his place grew the flower.

An angel plants a red fern on the grave of somebody who is precocious/loved/blessed.

Forgot these, dandelions going to seed are "wishes" you pick them, then blow the seeds off, the more seeds you blow off the more likely the wish will come true.
and.... on your wedding day you plant a crepe myrtle tree, the health of the tree and the rate of it's thriving mirrors the happiness/ success of the couples marriage, the myth is from the 1900s, I believe.
Lets not forget the luck of a four leaf clover.

The Legend of the Dogwood

At the time of the crucifixion, the dogwood had reached the size of the mighty oak tree. So strong and firm was the wood that it was chosen as the timber for Jesus' cross.
To be used for such a cruel purpose greatly distressed the dogwood. While nailed upon it, Jesus sensed this, and in his compassion said. "Because of your pity for my suffering, never again shall the dogwood tree grow large enough to be used for a cross. Henceforth, it shall be slender, bent, and twisted, and its blossoms shall be in the form of a cross–two long and two short petals.
"In the center of the outer edge of each petal will be the print of nails. In the center of the flower, stained with blood, will be a crown of thorns so that all who see it will remember."
