kind of sort of but it's the truth we are still <depending who you look at> 5-9" and less than 0.03" of ice..

work has already called a snow day... still have to burn 8 hrs of vacation time....

and my trip to conover today. omg what another nightmare he has gotten me into.....GRRRR

I WISH my boss had closed for the day. I'd GLADLY give a vaca day to not have to drive home at the height of the storm. The news is saying things like "The accumulation is going to be so fast, if you're on the road when it starts to snow, you'd better be finding somewhere to get shelter." We're expecting the snow to start around noon... and unless he changes his mind, I'm stuck here till 3:30. Thanks boss.. (with your giant 4-wheel drive truck...)

I was surprised my DH's boss told them yesterday they'd be going home a couple hours early. Supposed to start at noon here too. I packed the car with emergency supplies yesterday, just in case.

i guess this time my area will be lucky to get a dusting. not like last year at all here. i'm grateful for that since the snowblower hasn't been working. we've had to shovel all our snow this year & the few storms we've had were mostly fluff.

We got just a dusting here, also, but not very far east of here it is snowing like crazy.

This reads like my preparations for a hurricane. Tie everything down, stock up on food, dog food, feed, draw up water, etc.
