mmm, also, first ripe Cucurbitaceae of 2013???
It's not a moschata, it's a maxima. I got it from www.bountifulgardens.org because it was the only one I found that was a maxima and not a moschata.

My pumpkin plants seem to be growing well this year I may have my first entry in 3 years lol. Fingers crossed here...:)

After 3 years of trying to grow a giant pumpkin I finally QUIT

Came home one day and found a 800 pound hog laying on my vines, still no clue who owned him. I figured after that it just wasn't meant to be I was really mad as this pumpkin was growing steadily and had huge (no pun intended) potential
