Baymule, we did have to end up shooting the hog animal control came out and were scared of there own shadow

Butchered him but he was so old yuck. Wish I had known about the slaughterhouse an hour away could have taken him there they woulda purchased him and made him into all sausage I will say tho I will never forget the look on hubby's face when he turned around from the corn and came face to face with him

And thanks for the warm welcome our garden is just about done for the year we are getting ready to do some fall planting just lettuce and beets and of course in October in goes the elephant garlic

congrats...
oh yes delicious sauteed in butter, garlic and seasoned with salt and pepper a meal by it self
and the best part is if you pick them small enough to fit in the fridge they will stay good for a month plus.

Surprise, surprise after getting everything in almost a month late I actually have a nice pumpkin! It was hidden in the back corner and I haven't been going in the garden much because of hornets so I didn't know it was there, so it was a very nice surprise. I'll get a picture and a weight, hopefully soon.

Here are my three pumpkins plus all my other gourds I grew, I need to get/find a scale because I think they out weigh my little garden scale:
