true be told.. last saturday the g/t started to sputter and pop so did a major tune up, dang it's the carb being 16 years old and never had any work done to the carb guess it due.
called farmers feed and seed in k-ville sure bring it in, got there today the shop person rude as all can be said no we only service what we sell.. he did have the intelligence to refer me to another place, they asked what the problem..gave them this
Sputters and pops at any position of the throttle after a minute or so.
What has been so far…..
Replaced fuel, used deferent location
Tune up air filter/ pre filter, oil filter, oil<30wt>,fuel filter, fuel pump, spark plug<gaped to .030>
Adjusted the valves to .004
Adjusted throttle cable to throttle stop
Turned fuel tank up take hose 180 degrees, just to eliminate that as a cause
Checked fuel lines for leaks/cracks, fuel lines replaced 4 years ago… seams good
Note….. The lower hood mounts broken off be careful while removing hood…

ok just do not have them replace everything i have done so far..

other wise enjoyed today have the beds ready for planting tomorrow......
