I’m sorry to hear your dogs are having health issues. So scary. I’m still reeling over losing Heath. The hurt never seems to end, but Fen has been helping. He was weeding with me the other day. Somehow my big troughs got filled with GRASS. I would till up a chunk and hand it over and he’d shake all the dirt off. He did a stellar job. Dug a nice hole for me too in case I wanted to transplant a large tree He’s stupidvised while I attempt cutting back vines from the archway and raspberries that have all suffered from years of neglect

I get how you feel losing Heath, I lost my beautiful boy just before 9/11 . You don't cry so much after all that time but you never stop missing that close connection.

Hold onto that handsome Fen of yours , he looks a loyal lad.

Fen is 5 mo old. He’s only been with me 3 weeks after failing in his first home. (puppy buyer was not prepared for the demands of a puppy). His breeder contacted me as she knew I had just lost my Service Dog and thought Fen would be a good prospect. In the 3 weeks I’ve had him, he’s already learned to hand me things I have dropped or cannot reach, and to search for and bring me both my misplaced kindle and phone. Very intelligent, highly focused puppy.
