I sure hope all your effort at self sufficiency works out.
I know it would be a great thing to do but wayyyy toooo much work for an old guy, just keeping up with a garden and a couple of vehicles is enough for me.

Thanks guys! I have a couple days of internet left. I'm trying not to abuse it. We've calculated that we can have everything except for the house and my husband's student loan paid off by March. The student loans will take another 2 years, snowballing what is freed up. And our aim is to pay the house off in under 15 years. Before long we can really get down to business doing all the things we really want to do. It's kinda like losing weight...it's fun to watch those numbers drop!

My mom will like that plan, seeing us a little more often...especially with the granddaughter in tow. I'll be around, just not haunting TEG everyday like I'm used to.
