Geez! We can't be far behind... Tons of flooding this morning. They are evacuating people out of city streets with boats!! Where I am, is okay- but a few miles away the apartments my Dh manages are under water! The electrical boxes are covered- so no electricity. Mother nature- give us a break!

The Mississippi is out of its banks near here for the 4th time this spring/summer! It was soooo hot, humid and wet this week. Today is far less humid and cooler. :clap Looks like we may have a nice week only in the 80's. I will be thinking about all those in the REALLY HOT areas. :somad The predicted highs of over 120 degrees is SCARY. My heart and prayers go out to them. Take care if you are one of them.

Been just about right for us here. Haven't had to water the garden yet, though it came close one day to being too dry. I finally bought a little rain guage this year and will probably go ahead and upgrade to a big one. I've gotten a lot of good out of it and don't know why I waited so long to get one. :p
