Changing the subject here. Mark me down for bad, but Canesisters, what do you use to seal your lovely chickens for freezing?

Shrink bags. I get them from "Top of the Mountain Vegetable Farm".

Once the birds have enjoyed their over night soak in an icy, salty cooler - I rinse, dry, check for any missed feather bits, stuff them in a bag neck first, zip tie the opening (comes with the bags) and dunk for about 10 seconds in 190* water.
