Goofed up, as always.

I got up just after 2am, Standard Time.

I am sometimes up that early, in the summertime, when the sun comes up early, when I have something to do ...

Wind gusts above 30mph. More rain on its way ... I did doze off a couple hours ago. Clock said it was for just over 5 minutes. Let's see. With setting the clocks back it would be a negative 66 minute nap. Shoot.

I agree. When I lived my life by the clock, the change was an unnatural thing to me and there's no purpose for it whatsoever. Now that I haven't owned a watch in 4 yrs, I could care less...my body wakes when it wants, sleeps when it wants and I do nothing by the clock anymore.

My dogs get fed whenever I get out there to do it in the morning, no specific time...they act the same~eager to see me~at any time of the day, whether they've already been fed or not. Chickens the same way...pop door is always open, so they can come and go as they please and they can eat at any given time out there.

It's an easy breezy kind of life that I've come to really love and I barely even notice this so called DST now. The only concession I make towards it is changing the clocks so we won't be late/early for appointments and such.

An idea I hadn't even considered a few years ago is leaving it daylight savings time year-round.

I think that might be okay. I don't really like the powers that be deciding how to set the clock but someone needs to figure out time zones. If we agree on anything, we should be able to agree on what our clocks say in our neighborhoods.

The time changes I find difficult and, sure, I find it a little difficult to march to a different person's drum but I am asking them for a service or product at a store or office. (Have no relationship with court orders or the probation officer ;).)

Hello, darkness, my old friend.
I see it's standard time again.
