Is there an art or design forum like these?

There's a chicken one, a herds one and a garden one. All seem somewhat connected.
Is there one for design or art??


If not, I guess this is my art/design journal.




I saw this somewhere online and thought it looked easy enough to try and paint. Decided on a 5:3 ratio, but not where nor actual size yet.
24×40" might be the all around good size for the walls I'm thinking it could go on. Any larger may be too difficult for me. I've really struggled with big paintings, it's just so much paint and I seem to be a small to medium size painter.



I have a lot of random pictures saved for inspiration for paintings, yarn art, felt art and such.




Anyone also have inspiration art, but not made anything or started?

The only art forum I know of is crimsondaggers. Has many different media and design forums.

I went to Michael's. Even with their coupon, it was cheaper to buy a two pack on amazon. Saved $14.
They arrived today! Delayed because of the snow.



Their paint is also incredibly expensive. I buy the cheapest stuff, as I'm just messing around with paintings and they tend to suck. So, I don't see the need to pay double for the same amount of paint at a similar level of quality.
Gotta order more paint. I just remembered while typing that. I was supposed to do that when I ordered the canvas...

Stretch canvas has sky rocketed the last few years. I have found some old paintings I black out and reuse the canvas.

I've looked into those backerboard types. Sometimes cheaper, kinda ugly, but who cares.

What do you think you will paint first? I used to oil paint years ago and was ok at it. It was mostly just fun!
