got baking to do

Today when I get off work, and most of the day tomorrow, I'll be "practicing " for the state fair by doing some baking. Cake, pies, muffins, breads, biscuits. Anyone else doing a big bake?

No, not doing a big bake. If I did, we'd eat it all and wear it around our middle.

Only planning a loaf or two of Chocolate zucchini bread. The vines are dying so this will be the last for this summer.

We didn't plant any zucchini this year. We were lucky to get a few grapes. Not nearly enough for jelly.

I'm baking a chicken pot pie today. Does that count? It's not for the fair, though. Just to eat.

Gypsy is coming for our Friday sleep-over. We have plans to bake a pineapple upside down cake if there's time before ice skating.

I spent most of the day with DH during his eye surgery. Maverick will be supervising Grandpa for a while this evening while we girls are busy.
