Mary, it would be nice to compare pictures where they are both the same age. The eyes look a little similar but the long eyelashes are throwing me off. It's hard to compare because the baby on the left is so much older and matured.

Yes, DD, DS and I had long dark eyelashes. She does not yet, so could be some of her daddy in there that I do not see yet. Here is DD 3 or 4 months old. There is a difference in them.

My boys are now 5, 8, and 11. Sometimes they are a big help inn garden chores. I pay them what they are worth. The little guy got a dollar for some chores over a couple of days. He was paid way he was worth. But, a dollar really lit up his face. The other 2 get more with orders not to discuss what the other got. I explained to the oldest that his brothers aren't worth that much so he has to keep his mouth shut. Yesterday we were moving my potted daylilies into my hoop house. I had started myself. It is tough on the back so I was taking my time. I don't know what came over them but they seemed to be in a completion to move plants. We were using the mower cart to move them. They must have moved 400 plants in about an hour. So I owe them a bit of cash. The 5 year old calculated that he moved 90 plants so he needed $90.00. Hahaha

One of our neighbors did a similar thing with their 2 boys. They even paid them money for doing their own chores in their rooms. A couple years later, when mom or dad asks them to do anything these boys always ask what they will be paid, and if they think that that is not enough, they just go away. BACKFIRE TO BLACKMAlE if they ask the boys to do anything now !!!

Well, my boys are my grandsons. They will be able to do some serious work when they are older. So I pay..

We had the 3 grand daughters for the weekend. I gave the two little ones a bath, then we played on our bed. They love to roll around on it, jump up and down, tickle and giggle. The 11 year old joined us and the four of us played for almost 2 hours. The 3 year old pointed to my face, "What's that Mamaw?" I told her, "That's a wrinkle." She screwed up her little face and asked, "Where do they come from?" I told her, "You get them when you have a birthday. She thought a moment then so seriously replied, "I don't want anymore birthdays."
