There sure is something wrong with that. Athletes are heroes. Smart people/kids are nerds.

That tooth gap is frequently caused by an enlarged muscle running from the front, between the front teeth and then up to the roof of the mouth. Three of us four kids have it. I had a Frenectomy back in the 60's while at the Lackland AFB dentist. John Glenn the astronaut was in the room next to me. Anyway, I had a cast there on my mouth and it was horrible. Fast forward a few years and now Frenectomy's are simple. The other two kids in my family got them and it was a breeze for them.

My daughter had the frenectomy also. It did not work on her. She has a splint on the back of her 2 front teeth that has to be replaced ever so often.

Aww all those adorable little ones! Our youngest Grandson is now SEVEN, Both Grandsons are playing ball this summer, keeping Grandma and Grandpa busy 4 nights a week.
