I make a mean dangerous almost unholy tiramisu :D seriously the kind you can not have in the house unless you have company because it just keeps calling your name...."come eat me..just a little more...you will not get fatter if you take a little bit ....whoops I am uneven come even me out ...ok now I am only a serving left so you can wash the pan just eat the rest of me ...it will not hurt I promise "
my food talks to me and yes I know there is medication but I am not taking it!!! :D
now I want some because I am feeling blue ..wonder why food is such comfort ..oh wait because it tastes so good ...comforts you and makes you want to suck your thumb and twirl your hair!!!!

Another lemon desert -- a lemon tart this time -- an Italian one of course! So it is twice blssed as far as I am concerned. Their lemons are very special. Sometimes I can buy them in my local town but they cost a fortune.....!! I bet some of you lucky people further south have lemon trees in your back yards? If so I'm green with envy. ;) :D

I'm going to send a copy of this recipe to my great friend in Hawaii who has a remarkably tasty one in his garden. When I visited him we made a great almond & lemon cake using his fruit.

Here is the tart recipe:-

you are a cruel cruel woman ...I can not think of anything that would be more scrumptous than this right now as I sit here eating my snow peas and cheese for lunch ...I love snow peas and cheese but omg ......drrroooooollllllling

just a hint if you pour some boiling water over your lemons it takes the wax right off and actually brightens the peel flavor

Blackberry season is just arriving in my neck of the woods & sometimes you want something comforting & filling BUT QUICK to make! :D

Here it is -- a blackberry pudding, but cooked in minutes only, in the microwave! Just remember the measurements are from the UK.....so translate or it wont work.

Freeze lots of blackberries for winter use. :frow

:D Hi there! :frow

Confession time! :bow

Now, I have an overwhelming love of coffee ice-cream -- I will do ALMOST anything for it.....!! When I don't have any I pour boiling hot, very strong espresso over a dish of vanilla ice-cream & gobble it up (actually this is even more delicious).

I love Brownies too, so this recipe sounded pretty good to me -- a kind of Brownie Sandwich filled with coffee ice-cream & covered with chocolate (I might leave the last step out But it certainly looks great.

Have a wonderful weekend. :celebrate
