Though I do make my own pectin, in the long run and use 10x more then I can actually make and I find spending $5 on those 4oz jars of ball pectin is a little much. I gotta save $$$ somehow right?!
Well guess what I found!?
Pacificpectin.com
I got some info on them in the mail (being a registered business, I get LOTS of companies mailing me flyers and booklets), looked them up, did some research. I found they had good reviews and EXCELLENT prices.... that only got better when I found out they do FREE SHIPPING!!!
So I bought a 10lb bag of their pectin for $65 (free shipping).
Cost savings for that use....
I was paying $20 per pound store bought pectin.
Savings of $135!!!!
So I had to come shout them out for anyone who jams like I do. Plus they have TONS of other pectin products including pectin with the antifoam stuff included so no more scraping foam off those jams when they're ready. (Remember, 6 TBSP of dry pectin equals one of those boxes you buy at the store for about $3!)
