In the evenings, we all go out for a good romp. The dogs run and play, we enjoy their exuberance for living, and all has a good time. I started to the chicken coop and Trip ran to see what I was doing, followed by Parker and Polly. I stopped, Parker launched himself at Trip and Trip slammed into the back of my leg. I went down like I was poleaxed. Hit hip first, then flat on my back in the rained on sandy driveway. The dogs were instantly delighted! They thought Mommy wanted to play with them! I was dog-dozed by 190 pounds of fur, paws, and big slurpy tongues. I couldn't get up, was trying to fend off a face washing of dirty, sandy dog muzzles and tongues that would put a cow to shame. (cows have big long tongues) DH couldn't help, he was laughing too hard. Finally he came over, wiping tears, and gave me a hand up. I got up, laughing, spitting sand and wiping slime off my face. A good time was had by all!

Rattlesnake vaccines ?
Now that you live in the country you might want to look into rattlesnake vaccines. They aren't a big problem in NY so I don't know anything about it.
Rattlesnake vaccines ? I have only heard of ANTI - VENUM SERUM ( $$$$$ ) ... used as an antidote to counteract the rattlesnake venum for after one is bitten by a rattlesnake . :hu
